<p>Hi,
i am and Indian Class 12 student who has just applied to The Wharton School and am a little jumpy about the application.Chance me?
I have overall of 80%, 82% and 82% in my class 9, 10 and 12 internal exams.
I aced my class 10 CBSE board exams(External) with a 97%(highest possible in the exam).
i got a 2110 in my SAT 1: R:740,M:740,W:630
SAT II:M2:790, Bio(E):740
Curriculum at school:
1.Business Studies(always got between 95-100)
2.Economics
3.English
4.Physical Education
5.Mathematics(Advanced)
6.Accountancy
I went to a very prestigious school which made us do 6 subjects while the norm was to do 5, so i guess that the curriculum can be called rigorous. My rank is 6/120.</p>

<p>I got a national award from the Sanmarg Newspaper, an award from the regional society of Marwaris and one from my school for my class 10 board performance.</p>

<p>I am a musician and was the band leader of the school. i was sent to various schools and fests as the representative of the school. I have lots of Social work and Volunteer Wrok with organisations like HelpAge India and SPICMACAY. I was a patrol leader in our scouts division, a member of the chess club and also attended a 7 day course at The Space Center ,Houston for which i got a certificate. I also represented my school in an international writing competition. Regretfully, i am not a sportsman and have no involvement in that area. my counsellor told me that

I dont think the SAT will be any problem with ur ECs…u really helped in a research paper?
Which high school lets students do that?!</p>

and that is my research paper(I did not help anyone else on their research) it was my idea those -were my research advisors,
high school has nothing to do with my research , my family has been manufacturing locomotives since 3 generations so , everyone is kind of into mech stuff, the company VED SASSOMECCANICA is my fathers friends corporation so, thats the reason he helped me with my research , school can not stop anyone from undertaking a research if he or she conducts it in his own or someone elses factory or lab.</p>

<p>Chance threads are pointless. No one except the adcoms can even give you an approximation of whether or not you’ll get in. You are ‘qualified’ though.</p>
