Hey guys! I have become really interested in W&L and think its a great fit. However, I don’t know if from an acceptance standpoint if it’s more of a reach or match. Here are my stats
- NOTE: Sorry for unprofessionalism throughout I wrote this in 10 minutes - Objective: ACT (breakdown): 33 C and Superscore (35, 30, 32, 34) (Math is one point higher superscore) Writing: 8 composite, 9 superscore SAT II: Will probably take chemistry, lit, and one other subject and submit best two Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.7 UW, 4.0 W (Calculated by hand, the normal scale is 100 point, 95.6 weighted 93.4 unweighted). - Jazz band Trumpet in jazz band. Mostly just for fun, jazz is underrated 10-12
- Scholars Bowl (9, 11, 12). Fine arts player, also my APUSH teacher.
Job/Work Experience: Panera Bread (grade 10-11). Stayed for 11 months, but left when the manager started adding shifts to the schedule after it was published
Target (11-12). By time of applying, I will be working in 5 areas: Self-Check, Cashier, Starbucks, Guest Service, Beauty. I work about 16 hours a week, full time during summer
Volunteer/Community service: (City) Youth Court. will have ~ 300 hours at the time of applying. Volunteer attorney. already have a strong letter of rec from my supervisor. 9-12
(County) Victim Assitance program. Trying to coordinate with my school me leaving school during a free hour to volunteer.

Recommendations (rating 1-10, details): The one I have is nice, I’ll give it a 7/10. “First one she wrote”, it erred on the basic side.
Will have APUSH teacher and maybe AP lang? My AP Lang teacher likes me but im lazy in her class so I don’t know (Its a weird type of lazy honestly. She likes me but I always ‘forget’ assignments. when i turn them in they are high quality and she enjoys my passion of language) . Counselor likes me so its a non issue
