Looking at the common data set for 2017-2018, is not encouraging, BUT the profile of your secondary school can make a big difference. See https://www.wm.edu/offices/ir/cds/index.php

As you may already know, The average weighted GPA of the entering freshmen is 4.24. As different secondary schools weight differently, it is not straight forward to evaluate your school relative to the others applicants’schools. This largely throws the analysis back your school’s college placement record and their collective testing profile. Find out the universities your classmates typically attend and what the average test scores are of the graduating classes? Compare these to the William and Mary profile.

Do you have a very good recording of your guitar skills? If so, send it in. Be sure to interview.

In addition, find some quality backups as no one can assure you of admission. By way of example, consider George Mason University as a reliable backup. See profile at https://irr2.gmu.edu/cds/cds_new/sec_action.cfm?year=2017-18&sec_id=C

Just had a family reunion with two nieces, a grand niece and the grand nieces’ father who all graduated from William & Mary. They were very pleased with the quality of their LA education. George Mason has made a lot of positive news regrading the development of their own faculty over the past ten years. Be fussy, but look.
