Chance me for Cornell, UPenn, UCONN, NYU, UNC-Chapel, and Georgetown

-Asian
-SAT: 1900 (will retake senior year)
-5 AP in Junior Year, mostly in Math and Sciences; will take 6 senior year
-HOBY State Selected
-World Leadership Congress Ambassador
-Mu Alpha Theta chapter founder
-Will answer more questions upon request
Am I a match for any of these schools?

All except UConn are reaches with a 1900. Also, ECs seem a little below average if that’s all you’ve done. You didn’t say your GPA either

My current GPA is a 3.73 unweighted a 4.23 weighted.
I did a lot more ECs than I stated above…they’re just a smattering of the things that I have done with my life so far:
-French National Honors Society Member; 3 years member
-Math League Member: represented my town at many math competitions at the state and chapter levels; 2 years member
-Treasurer of the Leo’s Club; member for 6 years

  • Local Public Library Board of Trustees; I help my public library make decisions about how to run the public library efficiently
    -School JV Baseball Player
    -Lawrence and Memorial Hospital Volunteer
    -Local Little League Volunteer
-Volunteered a total of 300 hours in one 12-month period; Nov 2013-2014
-Highest AMC10 score in my school as a freshman
    -Local Kumon employee
-Kumon math program completer; second from district
-HOBY School Selected to represent at state
    -HOBY World Leadership Conference ambassador
    -Top 10-15% of class
    -DECA Club
There’s probably some more things that I am forgetting but this is what I have as of right now
Hopefully I will do better on the re-take of the SAT; I am aiming for a 2000. (750M, 600CR, 650W)

Bump

I think your GPA is there (although the unweighted is in the lower percentiles for Cornell and Upenn but it’s right there for NYU) but your SAT needs working. Also consider taking SAT Subject Tests. You have stellar ECs that will compromise some of your SAT should you not get as high as you want (I wish you the best of luck on your SATs, But try to set your goals higher. If you reach for the stars, you’ll fall on the clouds).

For NYU you’re a low match.
Cornell is a low-mid reach
upenn is a mid reach.

.

If you can get you SAT perhaps to a 2200 you would have a decent chance…

For Cornell it will depend on what college you’re applying to. To be honest, your test scores are far too low to even be considered.

Get SAT to 2200+
