My weighted high school GPA is about a 3.8; I’ve taken 13 AP classes (world history, psychology, US history, physics 1, English language, art history, US government, comparative government, micro-economics, French, calculus AB, biology, English lit) have good ECs (speech & debate, model UN, student government officer, French club officer, national honors society officer) and go to a very competitive and well-known public high school (we’re known to be a feeder school for Cornell, usually around 20-30 students per year are admitted sometimes up to 40; the top 5% of the class usually goes to Harvard, Yale, etc.) My SAT composite score is a 2110; 730 reading, 740 writing, 640 math) What do you think my chances are?
Where abouts are you in your class?
If your HS is in NJ and specifically Northern NJ I think I know what school
You refer to and I think you have a very good chance. But as the PP asked where are you ranked in your class?
Good luck!
My school does not do rankings, because it’s so competitive and having a certain GPA was ranking people low at our school while they’d be in the top 10% at other schools.
