everthing else regular classes
one D in precalc that i made up by getting a b+ online for the semester if they replace the D with a B+ my gpa will be 2.91</p>

<p>I think the csus might be a little difficult (just looking at their acceptance rates but also check their admitted students profile). I’m not too sure about the other schools but your stats are idiosyncratic with your high sat but low gpa. The fact that you didn’t take a lot of ap’s doesn’t really help you in that regard either. Also, not to sound harsh but studying at one of the “best public schools in America” is not an excuse or reason that can justify your gpa. There are many people out there who have studied at top public schools in America but have higher gpa’s. Raising your gpa is useless at this point because grades are pretty much locked in so work on writing strong essays and this will boost your chances. Any ec’s?</p>
Is the GPA you posted CSU gpa or is it your school GPA. I had a similar issue, but because I had taken so many math and science courses, my CSU gpa was a LOT better than my high school. 
Calculate your CSU gpa if you haven’t already!

CSULB- match, San Fran State- toss up a good essay should seal the deal, Sonoma State- low reach Long Beach- Reach. Did you try any UC’s or CSU LA?
I think you should at least be able to get into sonama state if not others which you have a shot for.

Your gpa is killing you… but your SAT is awesome. Sonoma state and SFSU should accept you, the rest are reaches.
