Hi guys,
I'm an international student who will be applying next year ;)
My stats are not bad--
GPA (unweighted): 4.0 (my weighted gpa is not available since our school doesn't provide ap or honors classes)
SAT 1 : 2230 /CR 750 Math 740 Wr 740(it was my first time taking the sat and i'll take it again, hoping to get a score above 2300)
SAT 2: Math2 800, World History 740
AP: World History 5, Micro&Macro Economics 5, Calculus BC 5, US History 4, French 5, Statistics 5, Music History 4

ECs--
captain of varsity lacrosse
editor in chief of a student magazine
section leader of youth orchestra
volunteer work- teaching kids from low-income families
i also participate in MUNs

I know that my stats and ECs are not bad compared to those of accepted students, but the problem is that I'll be applying for need-based financial aid.
Though Dartmouth is need-blind to international students, it is one of the most selective schools anyways.
Wellesley, Mount Holyoke, and Smith are not as competitive, but they're need-aware since I'm an international student, which makes my chance much narrower :(
I'm really worried since I have two critical disadvantages--being an international student and applying for need-based aid.
Could u guys share your opinion?
Thanks :)
