<p>I live in an incredibly rural part of New York in the Catskills, I don't think anyone form my school has gone to Dartmouth or any ivy except Cornell (and that only happens once ever 8 years or so).</p>
<p>Wow! You come from an uncommon background and took advantage of all that was offered to you. While your scores could definitely higher, it’s clear that you took advantage of everything that was offered to you, which could be a big plus. </p>

Well, the thing that I hope stands out is that I am a junior Olympian. I will also have great letters of recommendation because I go to such a small school and I’m really close to my teachers.</p>
<p>I think with your test scores you may be safe but I would try for more leadership positions in organizations at your school (or create more yourself).</p>
<p>thanks mrcyna. My biggest EC has always been skiing (especially freestyle) and next year I should have lots of leadership positions, at my school most positions are reserved for seniors.</p>
