As you can see, I’ve been to three different high schools so it was hard for me to be consistent. Chance me please!

For some context, I was denied Wharton ED @ UPenn, but I got into UVA out of state.

My essays were very good and my counselor said my recs were one of the best she’s ever read, by the way

Hey! I am currently a freshman at Vanderbilt in the class of 2021 and I am studying economics. Honestly, you never know what to expect. I have friends who got in to UPenn, but denied from Vanderbilt, and vice versa. There is no point in worrying, and best of luck to you!

It’s not easy for students to attend and excel at 3 different high schools. Assuming you were not expelled from your first 2 schools this will show resiliency and grit. Traits ADCOM’s like to see. Good luck.

it was just bad luck with my dad’s work :(. i’m hopeful that these schools recognize how tough it is to move so much

congrats on your admission to UVA. It is a wonderful university with some advantages for graduates particularly in their nationally highly ranked undergrad “Com School” which you cannot count on…admission is at the end of First Year and quite selective. UVA has a strong alum network and plenty of visibility in DC and NYC. Hope you get many choices in April, including Vandy.

You seem to have a similar profile to me! Good luck!
