<p>I’m interested in software engineering, but at the same time I’ve always been a physics buff and have always wanted to know about the inner workings of computers. Thank you for responding! What sort of things should I focus on in my essay?</p>

<p>It would be easier to double major in CS and physics in the College of Letters and Science, although you would need to earn a 3.0 GPA in the CS prerequisites to enter the CS major.</p>

<p>I agree in that case don’t both to apply to EECS, very stressful. LS CS has software engineering and you have room in your schedule to take Physics.</p>
