<p>I'm planning on applying early decision to Emory.
SO.... Here I go.</p>

<p>GPA: 4.0
SAT: 2140 (CR: 680, MATH: 790, WRITING: 670)
Subject Tests: MATH II: 800, US HISTORY: 740, Spanish: 750
Took 1 AP Sophomore year, 2 in Junior year, and planning on taking 3 Senior year.
Might have taken more but my school is a REALLY small private school so it doesn't offer much.
I also took a college freshman writing course during my Junior year and got credit.
Current ranking: Salutatorian (out of 55 students. yup, really small.)</p>

<p>ECs: Drama Club, Model United Nations (head of administration twice), Student Council, NHS (treasurer)
Community Service: Tutoring, babysitting, helping out in local pet shelter, church clean up service (participated since middle school)
Awards: Math Olympiad 1st place(once) and 2nd place(twice), Presidential Award (sophomore and junior year), Junior MVD 2010 (award similar to MVP)
Worked in the Korean Embassy over the summer.</p>

<p>I've been playing the piano since I was 5 years old, and the flute since I was 13.
I'm also really interested in art so I have a lot of paintings.</p>

<p>Oh and I've been living in Panama for 10 years so I speak spanish fluently.
ALso I'll be applying as an international student since I'm a Korean.</p>

<p>I think you have very good chances of getting in, especially early decision. You will still need good recs and essays, but your GPA and SATs are very good and worthy of admission to Emory. By the way, I think I have you beat on class size. This year I am taking some classes at a new high school, and I think I’m the 12th student in the senior class. :)</p>
