Chance Me for George Washington U., American University, USC

<p>Hello I am a second semester freshman at Irvine Valley College - a community college in California. I am applying to transfer for the Fall 2013 semester. If it matters, it has the second highest transfer rate in the state. I am applying to George Washington University, American University, Catholic University of America, University of Southern California and George Mason University. If anyone could offer comments on my chances to get into these schools it would be greatly appreciated.</p>

-Cumulative College GPA: Current 4.0 (Might be a 3.9 at the end of the semester)
-16 credits earned (16 currently enrolled)
-My essays were checked, double checked and written with great care over the period of a month
-3 very strong letters of recommendation from close professors
-Dean's List
-Phi Theta Kappa
-Golden State Merit Diploma
-AP Scholar with Distinction</p>

-3.0 unweighted (3.1 weighted) GPA (Got 1 D in Honors English sophomore year :( )

-Both parents are college graduates
-For GWU: Applying to the Elliot School of I.A. for Middle Eastern Studies because I want to eventually study abroad in the Middle East.</p>

<p>Perhaps, but I did get a chance to talk to the admissions advisers in person. They didn’t seem to be too against my number of credits. Based upon my stats though, what would you say my prospects are?</p>
