http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1524516-chance-me-please-all-ivies-stanford-duke-uchicago.html

I find it interesting you think UVA OOS is a match but UNC OOS is a reach. Most people here think it’s exactly the opposite.

Thanks for your chance, I chanced back!

Your credential looks pretty good, but your SAT1 is a little bit weak. Your CR+M is only 1430 that may hinder you from some top schools.

Thanks. I was worried about the 1430 but thought taking the SAT a third time for maybe 10 or 20 points of gain would look worse than letting it lie as it is. I think I’ll try the ACT; I feel like I might do better on its math section.

Hot Damn! You’re ridiculously impressive. I guess the only setback could be that nothing distinguishes you from everyone else in the upper echelon of “People who are insanely amazing,” which will be who you’re competing against. But you’ll undoubtedly be accepted into at least one of the Ivies/selective schools you apply to.

Stanford: Reach
Yale: Reach
Georgetown: Match
UChicago: Match if EA
UPenn: Mid-reach
Williams: Reach
WUSTL: High match
UVA: Match
UNC: Match
Washington and Lee: Match
NYU: Safety
GWU: Saftey and expect a lot of fin aid
UMiami: Safety and fin aid
LSU: Safety and fin aid

stanford and yale are of course reaches for everyone but the rest of your schools you have an especially good chance at. Chance me back!

@English2014: Aw, thank you! That made my night. I guess it’s the tragedy of college admissions that some of the insanely amazing (not that I consider myself a member of this group) will get rejected. Hopefully I can stand out with my essays (don’t think there are too many dog-showing animal volunteers out there, so uniqueness factor?) and improve my chances. Thanks for taking the time to chance me!

@kelsey9874: Thanks for the chance, I chanced back!

Stanford: low-mid reach
Yale: mid reach
GTown: match
Chicago: match
Penn: high match
WUSTL: match
UVA: low match
UNC: low match
NYU: safety
GWU: safety
UM: safety
LSU: safety

Agreed with teenbodybuilder. You’re scores, leadership, EC’s are all on par for the reach schools you are looking at. People say this all the time, and it’s true, but the reach schools you’re looking at are often crapshoots as far as admissions. BUT, I have no doubt that you could get into one or even more of those schools!

Thanks for the chance teenbodybuilder and FuturePetVet! I would chance you back, but I don’t know anything about Bowdoin.
