You sound like a wonderful applicant, as are most student’s who are ultimately rejected. Because Harvard has many more qualified applicants than they have seats in their freshman class, Admissions uses a student’s teacher recommendations, guidance counselor’s Secondary School Report (SSR), essays and interview report to select one high-performing candidate over another. As you haven’t posted those items (nor should you), it’s anyone guess as to how you will fair in the applications process. The most anyone can say is that your GPA and test scores indicate you are a qualified applicant.

FWIW: Harvard rejects student’s every year with 2400 SAT’s, so it’s completely unnecessary to retake the test. If you haven’t already, you should read up more about what Harvard looks for. Here’s a thread to get you started. Best of luck to you! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/1420290-chance-threads-please-read-before-posting-one-p1.html

You gave a ticket to the lottery.

As good a chance as most (94+% rejection rate) and better than many. You have a fairly impressive set of extrecurriculars, but as @empower notes, top grades, test scores and extracurriculars only buys you a ticket to the lottery. As @gabby points out, recommendation le/erst and essays will be crucial.

Remember that the easy is the one place that you get to speak directly to the people on the adcom. They get to see you, as an individual person, hopefully relatively unfiltered. Make the most of it.
