you certainly have a strong academic record - nice AP scores :] and if you get that writing score up, the numbers should be fine.

however, despite the fact that you've gotten involved in a lot of different things during high school and you have some really great awards, it sounds like a laundry list of activities. and i have to ask, where do you find the time to do everything? do you sleep? lol i don't want to be disparaging but try to make sure that your most significant activities stand out on the app.

i think you definitely have an above average shot at penn and huntsman. i hope i helped and good luck!

I'll admit that it does look like a laundry list of every random activity I've ever done in high school

If you had to boil it down, I would say the activities that I am truly active in are debate, math team, and athletics.

Huntsman accepts 40 - 50 people every year, Any huntsman stundet can correct me but average ACT last year was a 34.... You ahve an amazing chance at Wharton (believe me I don't say that alot =]) but Huntsman is like perfectionist's trying to ascend. You will probably need perfect stats AND a amzing hook.... like you don't have any arms, walk 4 hours to school everyday... and is the main source of income for your family... oh and you live in a shack and live on a dollar a day. lol lol lol i kid i kid, but Huntsman is extremely hard to get in. However by no means does this mean you should not apply! DOn't let me or anyone else stop you from applying!

Any more chances?

Do you guys think I should apply for Russian or for Spanish?

there's this part of the app that asks u whether u want to apply for huntsman. if u don't get accepted, u DO still have a chance at the regular schools (i.e. CAS) right? there's an option underneath that asks u what's ur second choice IF u don't admitted to huntsman. but when i clicked on it, there is absolutely nothing. it's like a drop-down box thing...

Yeah I'm wondering about the same thing, too. If one applies for one of the dual-programs, doesn't get in and is then considered for his/her second-choice college, then would he/she have a smaller chance of admission than an applicant who applies straight to the said college at Penn?

Same problem here x___x E-mail the technical team?

no i've been trying to look for email addresses on the penn homepage. also, i have bunch of questions to ask...however, they only provided phone numbers for the deans of admissions (eric J furda).

WTH!!! i'm starting to freak out
