<p>So I'm going to be a senior this year, and I'd like some opinions on my chances</p>

<p>Gender: M
Race: Chinese
Location: Competitive public school in texas</p>

<p>SAT I: 2000- not going to send it</p>

<p>ACT: 33 composite
30 second time, retaking in Sept hopefully for a 34+</p>

<p>SAT II: Math Level II-760; us history-670 (retaking for 700+)</p>

<p>GPA: 3.82 unweighted, 4.23 weighted
Rank: 56/960 but will probably be top 45 beginning senior year
Schedule: Most rigorous, 11 AP completed by senior year</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
DECA- (11,12) VP- Went to nationals in Accounting Applications
Students Organizing Community Outreach (11,12)- Secretary
Will likely start a ping pong club this year and I have several table tennis awards
Youth group at my temple(9,11,12) help with various community activities
Habitat for Humanity(11,12)
NHS(11,12)
member of Mu Alpha Theta(11,12)</p>

<p>Volunteer at an assisted living facility(11,12)
Volunteer at my city's therapeutic recreation for kids(9,11,12)</p>

<p>And I skipped tenth grade, don't know how they view that.
Any suggestions appreciated</p>

Your rank is good and your ACT score is really good. If I was deciding, I would say YES.</p>

<p>im pretty sure youll get it. i am an oos student and although i didnt apply to business (regrettably since thats what i want to pursue now) my friend/classmate got accepted into the school. im not completely sure of his app. i know he was below top 5% but above top 10%. his ACT was a 32 or 33 first time. his gpa was around a 4.2-4.3 weighted ofc. prolly a 3.8-3.9 unweighted. rig. courseload. lots of sports, extracurrics. and our highschool was top 3 in the state so maybe that helped. although since your an instate student in around the top 6% you might as well say youve already gotten in. just keep up your rank, write some splendid essays and your good.</p>
