<p>To those who asked about my intended major, i am interested in Chemistry/Biology and CompSci, i havent really decided which i like more…</p>
<p>If i applied early decision at lets say MIT, would i have a better chance, or would it not offer any significant advantage?</p>
<p>Also…nobody really answered my earlier question…what else can i do in terms of unique ECs/awards? what will be the impact on my chances if i do research and publish a paper?</p>
<p>@antwanmon, You cannot simply publish a paper!!! you need to work on an idea, develop it…it takes about 3 years…
I had an idea…worked 2.5 years to get it fully implemented…though I am still basking in its glory:D(PS : pls do not ask me what I invented again…I am fed up answering that question:))</p>

<p>Yes…indeed engarde…If you have tons of time to work on it…I have had one of the most rigorous 3 years of school…so i didn’t have that kind of time:(
