I have a 3.0uw/ 88 GPA/4.0w GPA & am in the top 35% of my class of 282 students.
SAT score 1900
I am fluent in Somali and English.
I am apart of the Muslim Student Association/MSA (VP & spreaded awareness about Islam and diverse cultures within the community, through hosting and engaging in community wide events & discussions) , Youth Court (played various professional roles in real cases against first-time high school offenders), Speech & Debate ( qualified for Nationals), Kick-off mentor (acted as a role model to incoming freshmen and helped them smoothly transition into high school) , spanish club.
I interned as an accountant interned at the WFM-IGP and job shadowed a nurse practitioner at health care facility.
I’ve worked at a fast food restaurant and a water company
I also have very strong/great recommendations from my math teacher, english teacher & guidance counselor.
I’ve taken many Honors courses and a few AP and community college courses.
I graduated from highschool in June. Should I go to a local college ( i’ve already signed up for classes but I can still drop) and transfer or just apply for the spring semester as an incoming freshmen. RIght now I’m struggling because of family issues, I don’t think I’ll be able to do well if I start college right now b/c my parent is either always fighting me or kicking me out?
