<p>I should also mention, I can’t believe I left this out, that my GPA is low because I was dealing with emotional trauma my first two years of high school, and was barely scraping by with a weighted 3.0. My junior year, my GPA jumped to a weighted 4.2. I will most likely have my guidance counselor expand on this in her letter of recommendation, as it is pretty significant and I do not want my GPA to count against me too heavily.</p>
