<p>So here is my profile:
Race/Ethnicity: Asian (but born in america)
GPA(Unweighted): 2.45 (BUT I do a lot of work im a cashier at moms store I work 34 hours a week . every week of the year since freshman year over school year and 74 hours a week every week suring summer over the past 4 years)
Essay: Told by 6 teacher that its incredible
Rank: not sure but is positive that it is top half out of about 600 students
SAT I
Critical Reading: 420
Math: 590
Writing: 440
(From Freshman to sophomore year my gpa has been rising every quarter)</p>

<p>Job/Work Experience:
works 2 hours a school day and 12 hours saturdays and sundays everyday at a convience store my mom owns
Recs:
from my history teacher who use to be a guidance councelor and my english teacher who went to harvard.</p>

<p>RETOOK SAT 3 weeks ago and took ACT one month ago expecting major improvement in math SAT section by 100 the least and improvement to reading by 40 by the least, act I felt confident should get SAT scores in 9 days and ACT scores this week

<p>According to QU’s admissions profile information, less than 1% of applicants with a GPA below 2.5 have gotten in, and two of your SAT sections were below their 25th percentile. I’d estimate it to be a high reach for you. MCPHS a UMass Amherst are also pretty tight when it comes to low GPAs, so they also seem like high reaches (Lowell is a bit better, though, so I’d call them a mid reach). Endicott’s about the same as Lowell, a mid reach for you, and Curry seems like a solid match.</p>

<p>As great as a long-term job and steady improvement are, there’s no guaranteeing that admissions officers will weight them anywhere near as much as they weight the GPA. I’d recommend updating this thread (or posting a new one, either works) once those new SAT scores come in; if they’re good, and if you get high grades this year, you just may help your chances a lot for these schools.</p>
