What are my chances at Michigan and Northwestern!? I'll chance you back honestly if you want. Thank you in advance! :)

Bump! Please answer :)

I don’t know about Northwestern, but you look pretty good for UMich, especially since you’re in-state.

Liv, your chances are still excellent since a few days ago, and they will be much better by next year if you focus on enhancing your ECs rather than on becoming a CC chance-me junkie. ;)

I’m worried about what’ll happen if I don’t get in though! If I don’t get into Michigan I’ll probably die

You’ll die regardless, sometime in the next century or so. :)

You’re doing just fine; getting the opinions of a bunch of anonymous strangers on CC isn’t going to make much of a difference. I’d keep a text file of ideas you like from others and then refer to that as you decide what activities to pursue. Of course, it makes sense to ponder and have follow-up questions to those suggestions. It may also make sense to repost chance threads now and then to see if you reach a different audience. But if you run a batch of these inquiries one right after the another, you’ll just tend to hit the same group of people who are momentarily active (this group tends to change over many weeks or months).

Very true. It’s certainly an inevitable event. And you’re right, I probably should stop obsessing about this, haha.

With an improved SAT/ACT, you will have very good chances at both of those. Your app is solid and well rounded. Legacy and instate will help a lot at Mich, though you might not even need those. Northwestern may be harder, but should be a low reach at highest.
