Essays/Recommendations:
Essays: Very Passionate for I'm in love with NYU.
Teachers Recs: One will be from History teacher who was also the schools tennis team coach. I've known him for a while, and one from my Economics teacher, who I had a wonderful time in class with.
Guidance Counselor Rec: Will specify my passions so they are emphasized in the letter.

Not sure if they are need blind, but more importantly, they DON’T meet need and give enough money only to very top applicants. Their packages are especially student and parent loan heavy.

They even sent out letters to admits this year explaining that it won’t get better and asking them to truly consider the staggering debt many would need to take on.

5s on chem, physics B, BC, AB, Language, Lit, mechanics, psych.
4s on Euro, US, Government, electricity & magnetism.

Our scores are pretty similar. I don’t know how the ACT is scored, but your subject tests are in the 700s. After that initial “7” NYU doesn’t care. One top of which, your GPA and rank are more competitive. Class of '13 was supposed to be the peak year of admissions competitiveness, I think you’re set. Just write good essays, emphasize an EC you really enjoy.

All in all, Stern does however have really competitive admissions. I do think that a math major at CAS {in which case, you’re definitely in} is no less attractive in the world of business as a finance at Stern. In fact, one might argue the former is MORE attractive.
