<p>I'm applying to many state unis. I plan to major in animal science or zoology. I'm from NJ and although Rutgers has a good animal sci program, I am really looking to leave this state. I guess its hard to understand if you're not from New Jersey but I've never been a fan of my native state :p</p>
<p>Anyway, I have a 3.5 weighted GPA, because I had a tough transition going from middle to high school during freshman year. I got two Cs in two honors classes during freshman year and Bs in on level classes, giving me a 3.3 GPA. There is an upward trend though. I've taken 10 honors, and 3 AP classes. I will be getting straight A's (4.3 GPA) for my first quarter grades, which hopefully stay the same all year. My high school is not super competitive, but it is a public high school with many high achievers. I'm in the top third of my class. I got an 1800 on my second SAT and I refuse to take it again haha.</p>
<p>I have really good extra curriculars: horse riding since I was 10, officer in 3 clubs, on 2 school sports teams, captain for one, no community service, kept a job</p>
