Yes, because 1° some colleges only give merit scholarships if you filed FAFSA (not all, but enough - you can email each and ask) and 2° you can never be sure of how much you’ll get in scholarships: FAFSA makes you eligible for a 5.5K loan, which can be useful -you do NOT have to accept it, after you receive your package you’ll be asked to accept or decline the offer line per line.
Just stumbling around CC as a prospective transfer. If anyone out there is curious to where I got in, I’m a freshman at Lehigh University. I ended up retaking the ACT and getting a 30, my GPA was around a 3.64ish weighted and I applied ED2. If you really wanna go to Lehigh and you have mediocre test scores and GPA, apply ED and you’ll probably get in. Transferring out because I don’t own enough vineyard vines and sperry’s to fit in here lol.
Did you get into BU?? I know you mentioned you were applying ED at one point
@sunflowerlover Rejected from BU but I didn’t apply ED. Too late for ED1 and I was pretty set on Lehigh for ED2
