ECs: Been dancing since I was 5, and am now principal dancer in a nonprofit preprofessional ballet company

Been involved with the organization Reach Out Students for Education which funds the education of Ugandan orphans since I was in elementary school, and carried it with me to high school and founded it there, I am responsible for sending 70-80 orphans to school every year

<p>Everything about your application is honestly amazing. I think you have a great shot, but a lot of the times, Princeton (and really most Ivies) can have very ‘random’ admissions. Best of luck!

<p>I’d say either a low or mid reach, depending on how much Princeton values your dancing.</p>

<p>It’s impossible to know for such a competitive school but your application sounds fantastic. It could help to send in a supplemental video of yourself dancing. Good luck! What other schools are you considering?</p>

<p>Thanks! I’m definitely planning on sending an arts supplement…and I also love Columbia and Stanford (lottery schools of course!) but will probably end up at UCLA, UC Berkeley, or something like that!</p>

<p>With your phenomenal GPA, ACT, and absolutely stellar ECs (Arts, Science, Humanities, volunteering, and awards galore!), I’d say you’re in their final pool without a doubt. Obviously, I can’t tell you that you’ll get in — no one knows how the admissions officers will actually view your application, how good your essays will end up being, or if there’s an “upset” of sorts in acceptances — but I wouldn’t be too worried :slight_smile: UC schools you’re golden for, btw. Anywhere else you’re considering? </p>

<p>Haha I chanced you as best I could! Some other schools I’m considering are Columbia, Harvard/Stanford/Yale (yeah right), Cornell, U Penn, Boston U, U Chicago, and UCLA/Cal/UCSD :)</p>

<p>Count yourself in at BU and UCs. You will also probably get into a couple of those reaches.</p>

<p>I’d say that Princeton is a low reach for you. I personally think that you should get in, though. But with these things, you just never know. Good luck!</p>

<p>Your chances are great for any of the top schools. For HYP and Stanford it’s probably a mid/low reach but for all the other ivies a very low reach (basically a match). You are extremely well qualified, which is obvious in you being a val and your amazing extracurriculars. You seem to be fairly passionate, such as with dancing and other activities, which is also very important to colleges. Your achievements/awards stand out and you have an excellent ACT score, which I’m sure will soon be accompanied by great subject test scores. I envy your chances, which are much higher than my own since I also want to go to the same schools as you. Please chance me back!</p>

<p>You have a solid shot getting into Princeton but obviously you may easily get rejected. What schools specifically besides Princeton are you liking at? I you haven’t already I would look at Cooper union, Carnegie Mellon, MIT, caltech, berkeley and Georgia tech.</p>
