(THIS WAS MEANT FOR MIAMI OF OHIO, BUT I MISPOSTED. HOWEVER IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ADVICE ON THIS HERE IT’D BE APPRECIATED)I am in-state and really want to save my parents some money for college and I have a 3.45 and a 35 ACT. However, when I was looking at the scholarships online they all ranged from 3.5+. I’m pretty sure this is just an example and doesn’t mean scholarships are restricted to 3.5+, but regardless. My courseload is all Honors and AP’s, and in doing so resulted in a somewhat lower GPA. It says on the scholarship page that people who don’t fit the requirements will be considered for scholarships, but will I be able to qualify for a scholarship in the same way that if I had a 3.5? Some other factors is that I am Indian, if diversity is a factor at all. Thanks.
