Personal Statements:
1: (9/10) Humorous essay about my experiences in scouting and the endless struggles and priceless rewards for leading young, immature boys into mature scouts.
2: (8/10) Strong leadership essay about my experiences, however, it is probably pretty typical at all the colleges I'm applying for. May change.

Thanks for chancing me! I appreciate it if you could tell me any tips or any ideas to help improve my application or something I should do. Criticism is encouraged. I do appreciate kind comments, however, criticism will help me reflect. Thanks!
Your stats are extremely similar to mine, with some being only slightly higher and some being only slightly lower, and I was accepted RD into the class of 2021. The main differences here would be that your ECs are way better than mine and that I’m a white male. That being said, nobody has a guaranteed chance of admission at Stern. Last year, the acceptance rate was 12%, and other admits are expecting it to be even lower this year. It will probably drop again by the time you apply. So, you are absolutely in the range of people who can be accepted to Stern, and you have a good chance, but keep in mind that, as I’ve seen, there are many people with similar and even better stats who will be rejected.
Also, you asked for some criticism and tips so here they are. Your GPA is very good, but still focus on getting it as high as possible before applying as I’m sure you already are. Also, for your second personal statement, it’s optional and so you should talk about something that your application leaves out. Looking at your ECs, it’s pretty obvious that you’re a leader and that you’ve already had a lot of experience being a leader. When an admissions rep reads it, it’s going to be nothing new. Possibly reconsider your topic for that, and maybe think about writing something totally off the wall to make yourself more interesting. In my case, coming from Colorado and it being something I’m interested in, I’m pretty sure I talked about the economics and business of the legal and illegal drug trade. Was it risky, yeah probably, but apparently it worked out. I hope some of that helped and I hope to see you there next year! Good luck!
I think you stand a decent chance for sure. I know 2 people that had way lower stats than you and they got in although they might have applied to CAS. A tip would just be to boost your awards like a club-based award or something. Still, NYU seems like a match for you regardless. Good luck
