<p>stonybrook is a reach but forge ahead with a fabulous essay, you never know. They also have programs for inner city kids, check those out and ask questions. CCNY could be a hopeful choice, I say give it a shot. I work at Stonybrook and my daughter goes to CCNY so I am a bit familiar with them. Can’t help you with other engineering schools . Good Luck!</p>
