Chance me for SUNYS and CUNYS!!

Why are you applying to physics at Buffalo but engineering at Stony Brook and Bing? Buffalo’s engineering is much better than Bing’s and is either on par or better than Stony Brook’s engineering.

BU - Reach
Binghamton - Low Reach
Stony Brook - High Match/Match for engineering depending on your grades/rigor in math and science classes
NYU Poly - Match
Buffalo - Match for engineering, Low Match for Physics
Hunter - Low Match
Baruch - Low Match
CCNY - Safety

I’m not too sure. Is it possible to transfer into Buffalo’s engineering if you get into CAS?

Yes, as far as I know you can transfer internally from any school within Buffalo to the school of engineering, but why go through the extra step? Your stats make you a match for Buffalo’s engineering.

You can read about internally transferring here: [Admission for Current UB Students](<a href=“Admission for Current UB Students - UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences - University at Buffalo”>Admission for Current UB Students - UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences - University at Buffalo)

Is CCNY’s engineering really that easy to get in?

@lilmelonred If I remember correctly, a CCNY representative said the average SAT for their engineering program is 1220 and GPA of 3.5 for 2011.

the cunys are pretty easy to get into. they’re all safeties

omg average is 1220 and 3.5 GPA. I guess that means i’m sorta below average. =/
