Volunteering: Twice a week tutoring at the local middle school, and once in while volunteering for boy scouts of america and school organizations (Dance team car wash and decorating for dances)</p>

<p>You have a pretty good chance of getting in. I would say syracuse would be a target school for you (safety, target, reach). Just keep working and write a good essay and have a good interview. also, e-mail the admissions directors if you met them at a college fair and tell them how much you are interested in their school.</p>

<p>I agree with Kelsey, Syracuse looks like a target school for you. Once you’re within the average of their students (grades, SATs, etc.), its pretty much the essay that’ll decide whether you make it or not, so focus on that.</p>
