writing 540 bad ... but who cares about writing

homestate new jersey so instate

Your SATs are going to be a negative factor against you; those are low for TCNJ in general, not even considering selective programs. Plus, your extracurriculars seem about average and don’t really suggest a major commitment/superior accomplishment in any of them.

i did not list all my ecs… nah there good and im instate so

Well first you need to greatly improve your spelling and grammar skills…(just kidding, but not really if this is how you actually write).

If you can, retake the SATs in order to try and bump up your scores. It isn’t impossible to get into TCNJ with those scores, but it is rather difficult. I have a friend here who didn’t meet TCNJ’s standards for SAT scores, but she wrote a mind-blowingly good admissions essay and was very active in and devoted to high school extra curriculars.

So, keep up with the extra curriculars and put your all into your application. Don’t sell any parts short. The 7 year programs (such as Optometry) are great programs and make sure the folks at admissions know you want in. Good luck!
