<li><p>Dramatics- Iv acted in, written and directed over 30 plays sice i was in hish school. Iv won the best director award at one of the largest interschool competition in the city. I also wrote and directed the winning play for the last intra school competition.
I am really interested in drama and plan to join one of the clubs or production companies at penn. (should i add it to my essay ?)</p></li>
<li><p>I was the co founder of the global issues forum at out school. secretary in class 11 and treasurer in clas 12. (the 2nd founder of the forum got accepted to wharton from our school this year.) we organize various debates and panel discussions among experts and the student body.</p></li>

<p>from my accounts teacher (head of dept) and math teacher. they both reccomend me most enthusiasticly and say that im the best student theyv com across.(will the math reco be benificial since wharton says math is important.)</p>

<p>Why would you even apply to all the ivies and stanford? All very different schools with very different feels and very different missions.</p>

<p>You clearly are only looking for the prestige of going to an Ivy, and have no actual interest in any of the universities.</p>

<p>what chendrix said. are you only applying to the ivies and stanford? all that shows is that you are only a prestige seeker and dont actually care about the schools. are you going to apply to any safeties at all?</p>

<p>at least the adcoms wont know that these are the only schools youre applying too. but it probably will show in your essays that you dont really care much for the schools other than their prestige</p>

<p>nono sorry for not specifying. im not actually applying to all those schools. i wanna do business so im applying to wharton ED and 2nd choice is cornell AEM , i might apply to brown coz of their open curriculum but thats it with the ivies. im not applying to stanford either…i cant imagine myself at HYPS !! lol… i just wanted to see where i stand.
PS i really want to go to wharton or cornell, i looove both schools and specially the cornell campus( its beauuuuutiful!)</p>

<p>but still, i dont see much business related interests in your profile, i see more environmental stuff. cornell stresses fit, and if they dont see much interest through your app, you wont get in</p>

2. i won an all india entrepreneurship award for the best business plan in the finance catagory.</p>

<p>but I digress. As an international student you will have a tough time getting into any US school and it is a true crapshoot.</p>

<p>I’d say you have a a great shot getting in somewhere. </p>

<p>The public service will be helpful as its something a lot of the top schools want to see.</p>

<p>Wharton might be questionable as I dont know how good of a fit they might consider you given how little actual business background you have but i think you’ve got a great shot for Cornell if you highlight how you are interested in a wide variety of things (an institution for any study sort of thing).</p>

<p>Cornell is pretty big on “fit,” so I think your environmental interests could come into play here. Check out the course offerings in the Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering to see if any of them appeal to you. </p>

<p>Then, if you can tie your environmental and business interests together in a compelling essay and show how well they’d fit in at Cornell, you’d have a great shot! (Though the competition for international students is stiff.)</p>

<p>Wharton is certainly a possibility especially if you increase your business credentials through EC/work/leadership. Better odds for AEM. Consider ED to improve your chances. Good luck.</p>
