Also Georgetown University
I hope to major in Finance/Economics and do Investment Banking…

You have a lot going for you. Strong GPA and ECs, URM status, however I think your lowish SAT score will still make the more selective schools on your list reaches.

What kind of rigorous courseload was offered at your school?
Did you take any SAT II’s?

I transferred to my current school in 10th grade, because of this, I was not granted honor status until my Senior year… My curriculum this year is:
AP English Language and Literature
Ap Spanish Language and Literature
Ap Micro and Macroeconomics
Anatomy HONORS
History HONORS
Ethics Regular
Precalc Regular

I took 2 SAT II: 800 and 650

Threads like this make me question what the SAT actually measures :P

I think the test scores mean a lot less if you have strong grades like you do. Umiami, Villanova, and BC are probably low matches. Georgetown, Duke and Notre Dame are probably mid-reaches, but those are difficult even for the best students.

Chance me?

bump bump bump

bump bump bump bump

Help me out!! Leave me your thread and Ill chance back!!

BC would definitely not be considered a “low match”, unless wannabe252 meant low reach. BC and Notre Dame have similarly selective entrance statistics (with ND being only slightly more selective).

buuuummmmmmpppp
