I have been looking into a college prep school for a while now, and I want to know if I will be able to get in. It is called Culver Academy, if any of you have heard of it. I have straight A's and I do several various extra curriculars, such as Geography Bowl(captain), Spell Bowl(captain), Drama Club(cast), soccer(travel team, star player), Literature Club(started it), and I play clarinet for normal band, bass clarinet for concert band, and bari sax for jazz band. I am also in AP classes and honors. That is all. Do you think I could make it, and if so, could you tell me about it, and particularly the scholarship program? Thanks a ton, and I will chance back.

why don’t you try for higher ranked schools, i can’t tell you on culvert as i really haven’t heard about it.

Culver Academy is a high school in Culver Indiana. It is the highest ranked school in the Midwest. It is also a college prep school, but that is all I know about it.

I have a son at Culver now. Given what you describe about yourself, I suspect you would likely gain entrance there. I don’t know if geography is an issue for you, but I agree with another poster here, that you’d likely also gain entrance to other competitive schools. Culver is a good school, and you should look at it. It does tend to give out a lot of financial aid as well, and you might consider applying for one of their scholarship programs.

I’ve looked into attending a Prep too, and I think you’d get into Culver.
