I am an American and British Citizen who spent the first half of my life in England and the last ten years in Pakistan.

Good recommendations…and a well written essay, but other than that…uhh…
I can’t really tell you all that much about those universities, but I can tell you what you should improve on.
SAT’s a are on par with top universities so your pretty set there. You didnt seem to mention GPA or IB points. I think you’re ECA’S are good. With that you have provided my overall impression is that you’re smart, youre not an MIT genius but you’re smart. But your ECA’s don’t really reflect your intended subject of interest which is engineering. For example its great you founded a magazine and literary society and that would look great if you wrote in your common app about your love for English and your intention to study further, which i assume isn’t the case. You need to have more relevant content on your credentials. Grades are up to par. ECA’S can be improved to more relevant stuff and maybe show more than just your ECA’S i mean what else do you do? do you play sports? do you have a book? do you have a company etc. these are the stuff that really helps people stand out. I think your focus now would be do all you can to stand out, make the admission officer remember your paper out of the thousands they read
Thanks so much! And uhh…my common app essay is about fantasy books lol. Basically, I’ve highlighted my passion as reading and literature, but my subjects all focus on sciences and math (i’m doing a levels in math, chem, bio, and physics). My transcripts are great with A’s and all. other than my four year long internship at one of the largest manufacturing companies of home appliances in pakistan, i dont have much related to engineering But thanks!
i can see you attending these universities but I think it would be in your best interest to add a little bit more, especially after viewing the "what are my chances’ section of this site where you find teens who have done extraordinary things and are still asking if they have a chance.
