Chance me for top schools?

Hey,

My name is Kenny and I’m thinking about my future, so any help and advice would be REALLY appreciated.
I’m applying to (yes, I’m getting a head start on things):

MIT
Yale
Harvard
Swarthmore
University of Pennsylvania
Emory

My SAT score is 1570 superscored, I have a 4.7 on a 5.0 (or 5.33 scale, I’m not sure how my school does it but in any case, I know I’m the valedictorian at this point). My ECs have a lot to do with Yale since I live pretty close: internship at a Yale lab, two classes at Yale (and a few other classes at another local university), and participation in a lot of Yale science events. I’m also on the math and debate teams, and I’m the president of my class. In addition, I co-founded a local journalism organization with a friend. My hobbies are guitar and a local Dungeons and Dragons club.

Also, I don’t know if it matters much (I perused the threads and it seems like it doesn’t), but I had cancer in sophomore year and so I missed out on a lot (but still got good grades in the classes I was allowed to do online).

Again, thanks so much for your help!!!

Few things I missed: I’m half-Mexican, half-American, male, and my parents are separated. My subject tests scores are:
790 in Math II and Chem
750 in Physics
I go to a STEM urban magnet school.
I was recognized at MathCon, a national mathematics competition.

You look really great but just know these schools are a reach for everyone who applies, focus on stem related EC’s and make sure your essays reflect your passion for STEM! Go ad luck to you

You seem competitive, but you probably won’t get in because these schools are extremely difficult to all applicants.

You have a really impressive resume. I think you get a good chance. But like what everyone else is talking about, these schools are extremely competitive for EVERYONE.

Your chances seem good, but make sure to remember that these are all reaches. Good essays would definitely give u a boost

Hey guys,

Life update here. Got in everywhere except Harvard (and I got waitlisted there, still waiting on results). Thanks for your help
