An SAT score would be really helpful.

If you can get a 2150 or above you should be competitive. Your activities seem somewhat focused, and your grades are obviously great.

Don't forget to take SAT II subject tests, since Stanford wants three.

Are you in California? And what is your class rank?

Thank you so much. Well my school doesn't really rank but I just received a letter requesting permission to send transcripts for ELC for UC's. So I'm in the top 12.5% of my class and do not know yet if I qualify for ELC and if I'm actually in the top 4%.

I've taken two SAT Subject Tests. My spanish score is definitely not all that great. I scored 520. But for my US History, I scored 700. I plan to take the Math II and English Lit in the fall.

And yes I am a California resident.

It seems you are already aware of what I was getting at. Doesn't that basically ensure admission to Berkley?

Well it says that it ensures admission into a UC campus. I don't know the exact details of how ELC really works, though. Lol. The only other UC I'm applying to is UC Santa Barbara. I do hope I qualify for ELC, though.

stanford doesnt require three SAT 2s... .. it says clearly that stanford recommends SAT 2s, and if you havent taken them before SCEA they don't care... They rather you get the best SAT 1 score first and if you have time and are applying to SCEA after receiving a good SAT 1 score, its just recommended you send 2-3 SAT 2 scores to them if you want, just to show your "competent" in some of these courses....

Like i said, on their website it says RECOMMENDED... not required like harvard etc.

I think you have an EXTREMELY good shot at Berkeley and USC
Stanford is always a reach but you have a great stats. Make sure to get good scores on you SATs.

Thank you. I've been studying for SAT alot lately. Kinda nervous for the SAT this Saturday. Really hoping and praying that I reach my goals.

UCSB is more of a safety for you, imo.

Based on your GPA and predicted SAT scores, you have an excellent chance at Berkeley/USC/NYU.

Stanford is always a reach unless you've done some mind blowing stuff like cure cancer, but you have a solid app. Make sure to write awesome essays/get awesome recs.
