Awards: Distinguished Honor Roll every semester All 4 years of high school, AP Scholar w/distinction, Dartmouth Book Award, and Outstanding Achiever in the National Merit Scholarship Test (PSAT)</p>

"Hooks:" I'm an URM; my parents and I immigrated from Africa when I was younger (I consider myself African-American) & I'm a first generation college student (my mom has a hs diploma, my dad started & didnt finish hs)</p>

<p>Really strong applicant :slight_smile: I think you’re a match for all the schools except Dartmouth and U Chicago, because they’re really really difficult to get into.
Just work on your essays a lot and you’ll have a really strong chance</p>

<p>I think you have an excellent chance of getting to all of those schools, even though Dartmouth and Chicago are sort of reaches for everyone, considering you are an immigrant and a black female, as well as a first generation college student.</p>

<p>If anything, try getting your math SAT score up, but considering your major, that’s not really an issue…</p>
