Your ACT/SAT is in the middle 50% range for at least some of these schools, but I am afraid that is a pretty tough list with a 3.486 GPA. Impressive dance ECs though. You must be a fantastic dancer! Good luck to you.

UC GPA? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
Post UW UC GPA, Capped weighted and Fully weighted.
UW GPA and test scores are low for most of the schools on your list. Very good EC’s but academics come first. I see no safety and your list is very Reach heavy and I think you aimed too high and may get shut out.

Please add a solid safety and Good Luck

UW 10-12 GPA: 3.273
W and W Cap: 3.66

Hi! Your GPA and test scores will definitely drag you down in regards to the Ivies - your scores a well in the 25th percentile and below. The thing about the Ivies is, although it is holistic, your scores will need to meet a minimum requirement before they even consider other parts of your application. However, your EC’s seem good and you have a solid hook (first gen.). Make sure you add safeties!! Anyways, here are my predictions:

  • Cornell: rejected
  • Columbia: rejected
  • Brown: rejected
  • UPenn: rejected
  • Univ of VA: rejected
  • George Washington: waitlisted
  • New York Univ: accepted
  • Boston Univ: accepted
  • Northeastern: waitlisted
  • UMass, Amherst: accepted
  • Univ of IL, UC: waitlisted
  • Univ of WA, Seattle: accepted
  • Univ of CO, Boulder: accepted
  • UCSD: accepted
  • UCSB: rejected
  • UC Berkeley: rejected
  • UC Irvine: accepted
  • UCLA: rejected
  • UC Davis: accepted

Best of luck! Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1940017-predict-my-results-cornell-umich-emory-usc-etc.html#latest

UC GPA is below the 25th percentile for all UC’s listed. Like I stated above, you have too many Reaches especially for the UC’s. You should have added UCSC and UCR for good Match-High Match schools. UC’s are very GPA focused. Not too familiar with most of the OOS schools so hopefully your LOR’s, EC’s and essays will help your chances.

Freshman admits for UC GPA of 3.40-3.79
UCB: 2%
UCLA: 3%
UCSD: 6%
UCD: 11%
UCSB: 13%
UCI: 16%
UCSC: 47%
UCR: 64%
UCM: 80%

Are the Out of State schools on your list affordable? If they are not affordable, you have no safeties on your list other than Community College.

For reference, Washington’s Common Data Set reports the unweighted GPA of enrolled freshmen in 2015 as follows:

3.75 to 4.00: 64.24%
3.50 to 3.74: 27.16%
3.25 to 3.49: 6.52%
3.00 to 3.24: 1.52%
Under 3.00: 0.56%

UW average GPA/SAT/ACT stats of enrolled freshmen are similar to UCSD/UCD.

Hi, here’s my prediction:

  • Cornell : denied
  • Columbia : denied
  • Brown: denied
  • UPenn: denied
  • Univ of VA:denied
  • George Washington :waitlisted
  • New York Univ: denied
  • Boston Univ:denied
  • Northeastern : denied
  • UMass, Amherst : accepted
  • Univ of IL, UC- accepted
  • Univ of WA, Seattle - denied
  • Univ of CO, Boulder - accepted
  • UCSD: denied
  • UCSB : waitlisted
  • UC Berkeley: denied
  • UC Irvine: denied/waitlisted
  • UCLA: denied
  • UC Davis: denied/waitlisted

There’s a lot of reaches on this list for the UC schools. With a 3.66 GPA and a 29, UCSC and UCR would be good matches. SB and Irvine could honestly go either way, but I’m just stating my opinion since It’s a little hard to predict.

Thank you everybody! And yes I know that basically all of my schools are reaches, and I’m ok with going to community if worst case scenario I don’t get accepted into any school.

You need to get your ACT score up.

@ILoveStanford will try to this coming Saturday, thanks!
