A big thank you in advance!!

Anyone? Bump

If you can get the sat up to a 2200, then:
UMich:match
UPitt: safety
WashU:low reach
Case: match
Northwestern: reach
Duke: reach
CMU: reach
NYU: match
UPenn: reach

UMich is high match for now (using ACT31 and GPA). It may be a match if you get 2200 in SAT. Your GPA is below their average (3.83), but you did take many challenging courses. Northwestern, NYU, Cornell, UPenn, etc would be even more competitive than UMich.

Thanks for the feedback! Working really hard on the SAT, so let’s see. Is the 3.83 GPA at UMich without freshman year grades? My mom did undergrad and med school at UMich; do they look at legacy?

If not ED to WashU. I don’t think WashU is worth it unless you really want to go there

sourpatch1: Don’t worry about your GPA as you are taking challenging courses. Last time I talked to the school counselor about a year ago, I was told they don’t count freshman grades and no grades either. I believe legacy should have some benefit.

Thank you! Anyone else? Are there other schools I should be considering with these stats? I’m thinking about premed/engineering…

For engineering I would recommend UMich and for premed ill recommend WashU, Duke and Penn

I am going by what you have now, not what you think you will get:
You can get into Washington University and University of Pittsburgh.
