I really would love to attend this school so please let me know based on what you have heard and any information you may know about this school if I am a good fit :)

- My school is really competitive so my my rank stinks: 186/477
- Taking SAT in June (I know this is a vital factor that could help influence your answer to my question but I can only tell you I am going to aim to score 1800-2000)
- Titan Tracker (club that you have to apply to get into. You just show transfer kids around the school and be their first friends until they make their own friends)
- Freshman Mentor- (must be recomended to join this club. You talk to freshman that have problems and kind of act as their older siblings)
- Future Business Leaders of America
- Key Club- I didn't get enough points to continue in the club lol. I didn't really like it hahaha xD
- Drama Team at my church
- Praise Team at my church

I don't know if this matters or if this will help with your answer, but I am an African American teenager living in an upper middle class society...I don't know if the diversity factor will help? Thanks so much for your help! Also, feel free to chance me for any other colleges that you think I could get into. I really appreciate your help in advance. :D

I can’t really comment about this school. Your GPA seems to be your only weakness. If your principal who teaches at the University is recommending you then I would say you have pretty good chances. Plus your EC’s are pretty good.

With these credentials our administration would be stupid not to accept you. Though your gpa is a bit low, you are very envolved which is what this university lacks. also, 6 AP senior year (though it was self study) is hard (took 5 myself). So if you get anywhere between 1900-2100 you should be here without a doubt. and do apply for all the financial aid they offer, epecualy for Bonner scholars because it gives you priveleges when picking a class among other things. best of luck

Remember, people responding to ‘chances’ generally have no inside information.

And yet, mtv22 feels qualified to go on and chance you…

Sometimes they have applied, or read admissions blogs. They are giving an opinion that may be based on their experience with a specific department that may not apply to you, or even based on misinformation (and there is a lot of it out there). Take it all with a grain of salt. Best of luck!

dude i am at the school and there are a bunch of ppl whos stats isnt nearly as good as his…hers? i think all this is enough to get in. High SATs would obviously help

Thanks guys (girls?) for your help lol. First off, I hate my GPA with a passion lol. I had a rough start to my high school career with some mistakes such as joining the AWFUL IB program haha. I did well but not well enough to influence my decision to drop out xD I know it’s low, so I’m going to work reeaaalllyy hard to get a high SAT score. And thanks blueiguana for the advice, but I appreciate everyone’s posts. I am reeeaallly going to need the scholarships so thanks chestercheese:)(btw I’m a girl haha) And mtv22- we are definitely homies lol. :D
