thankss guys

bump

come on guys plz answer

Great SAT scores!
Perhaps you might want to talk about how your taekwondo helped you etc. in your essay
You should probably see which school has a taekwondo club; that would help you to continue your interests in universities!

And yeah, you can get into at least one of them.

is one of them UCI? LOOOL

UPenn, Brown, Cornell - Low reach
NYU - Low match
UC Berkeley - Match
Georgetown - Match
USC, UCLA - Match
UCI - Safety

Correction: class rank is top 5% not 15% if that changes anything …

UPenn: Low Reach/ Reach
Brown: Low Reach/ Reach
Cornell: Low Reach/ Reach
NYU: Match
UCB: Match/ High Match
Georgetown: Low Reach
USC: Match
UCLA: Match/ High Match
UCI: Low Match

The objective parts of your application are great. Awesome SAT, good UW GPA, and good subject tests. You have okay extracurriculars. Taekwondo isn’t something you’ll be recruited for, and doesn’t in any way relate to any sort of academic major. I’m assuming an average number of hours for volunteering, so that should be good.

Your interesting personal story does help you with admissions (it’s an essay topic), but the fact that you are Asian does actually hurt you a bit.

Try for all of them; you’ll probably get into at least one that I classified as a reach.

thanks i am also hoping that i get into one of the reach schools.

UPenn, Brown: Mid to High Reach (Rank)
Cornell - Low reach (Rank)
NYU: In
UC Berkeley: Almost safety
Georgetown: Low Reach
USC, UCLA: Almost Safety
UCI: Safety

Korean SAT II??? Why? It might make you look bad.

well I don’t think adding it won’t HURT me.

any other suggestions??

bump

bumpppppppp
