<p>Although you are an overall strong student, your SAT score is weak for some of the colleges that you’ll be applying to. Your chances for UVA and UNC Chapel Hill are pretty good, but Cornell, Duke, and UPenn are definitely reach schools. But you never know, you could be accepted!</p>

<p>No problem! And yea your ACT is definitely on target, but because your SAT is below average, not submitting can’t hurt you. What extra circular activities do you have in addition to ice hockey?</p>
<p>I’ve played travel ice hockey my entire life! I’ve had experience as the team Captain and this year I will be a Captain! We travel all over the East Coast and it’s something that takes up A LOT of time, hence why I only have 2 real ECs but I’m very involved in both. Does that hurt my chances?</p>
<p>Although only having too extra circular activities certainly doesn’t help your chances, it’s won’t make as much of a negative impact as you’d think, because colleges prefer quality over quantity. Playing one or two sports your whole life is much better than doing five clubs that you don’t stick with. So yea man don’t worry about it too much haha</p>

<p>If you submit your ACT, you probably have a good shot at Chapel Hill, but being out of state there can be hard. </p>
<p>As a fellow DECA national competitor, what did you compete in at Nationals? It’s always cool to see people on CC from DECA!</p>
<p>Wow I am also a white male looking to apply to those exact schools. Definitely submit your ACT only. What did you get in the math and English sections? Because those are the most important.</p>

<p>Fireball - I believe I got a 28 on math (weak) but about a 33 or a 34 on the English section</p>
