Hello I am currently a freshman at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
My high school GPA was a 3.36 and I was involved in DECA and planet earth club. I will be applying at the end of November and my first semester college GPA will be ~3.5. I also have 3 letters of recommendations in and 2 strong written statements?

What are my chances of getting into UW-Madison for the fall of 2013?

Anything will help me. Thank you.

what kind of classes are you taking at St.Thomas?

My current classes are:
Principles of Macroeconomics - ECON 251-05 (4 credits)
Critical Thinking: Lit/Writing - ENGL 121-27 (4 credits)
Calculus for Business and Social Science - MATH 111-01 (4 credits)
Christian Theology Tradition - THEO 101-11 (4 credits)

My next semester courses will be:
Statistics I - STATS 220-02 (4 credits)
Principles of Microeconomics - ECON 252-03 (4 credits)
World Geography - GEOG 113-01 (4 credits)
East Asian Civilizations - HIST 119-01 (4 credits)

I also have some credits from Inver Hills Community College:

Accounting Basics - ACCT-1000 (3 credits)

Based on that, and the fact that the average transfer GPA from last year was 3.4, (I’d post the website where I found that but I lost the link >.<) I’m quite confident you’ll get in.
