<p>ethnicity? I think you have a very good shot either way, but if you were an under-represented minority it would also help.</p>
<p>You have the same stats as many who are admitted these days and the same stats as many who are waitlisted. This means write your heart out. Show who you are in your essays and show how you would use your education at Vandy. Sincere interest in teaching is always a good thing. Get your references lined up and let them get to know you before you apply. best of luck</p>
