Chance Me: Groton, Concord Academy, Brooks School, and Middlesex

About me: I am a current 10th grader applying for 10th grade as a repeat. I am white. I will not need financial aid, and am applying to all schools as a day student, as I live in the Massachusetts area.

SSAT scores:
Quantitative: 92nd percentile
Verbal: 86th percentile
Reading: 94th percentile
Overall: 95th percentile

PSAT scores:
English: 93th
Math: 99th
Overall: 98th

Grades(10th grade):
AP Biology: 93
HON Geometry: 95 (took HON algebra 2 in 9th grade with a 92 year)
HON English: 90
HON German 2: 93
HON US History: 99

EC’s: Not much, I play the trumpet in my school band as well as jazz band, but not much outside of that.

Side notes: I feel like most of my interviews have gone decently (so far), and my recommendations will be decent. I also lived in Germany for 3 years when I was younger(mentioned it in all of my interviews, which they have seemed very interested in).

There are very limited 10th grade day spots at brooks. I think it hovers around 3 per sex. That being said, I know someone who got one of those spots with aid and lower scores. But they were an athlete. Put together your best application…and pray!

Groton and middlesex are hard for everyone.

Is it too late to add LA as a backup?
