Although your ACT score and rank are good, your extracurricular activities are simply not good enough for top US colleges, let alone Harvard. These elite universities look for passionate students who have put a lot of time and effort into 1-3 activities that reflect their desires. Your activities are all over the place. Also, there is nothing unique about your application as far as I can see. There will be lots of other applicants who have grades, rank and scores equally as good or even better than you. Why would Harvard choose you? You need to be unique, and so far you are not. Unless there’s some other extracurricular activity you haven’t mentioned, you have almost no chance of getting in.
OP scores, stats, and grades are solid and put you in the discussion. Your ECs as you describe lack a narrative. Can you express to these schools where you have passion and have displayed leadership, commitment results etc. The goal shouldn’t be to prove you are similar to everyone else by virtue of your academics but what makes you unique amongst those that has the academics.
Based on your prior posts I surmise you are a junior? Focus on a few ECs and go deep not broad. Also don’t allow negative people to bother you, forge your own path. Good luck!!
A couple good ECs would be like interning at Harvard and doing research that cures brain cancer or doing a mission trip to Africa and solving their hunger crisis.
But really, your ECs look solid. They’re not great, but they’re far from bad. If you can write a stellar essay, then I’d say you have a decent shot. Of course with schools like Harvard, a decent shot is still a single digit chance. Just focus on what you enjoy for now and do ECs that you are interested in. That’s just my two cents. Good luck!
