<p>you will get into babson and CM, wharton is a reach. if you write a really good essay and have great recs and EC's you definately have a shot though</p>

<p>Nothing makes up for grades and scores. With the right stats, the DECA accomplishment is great. Wharton does not give anyone a break with low stats because the program is simply too competitive. Back in my day they did let in some because of connections etc. who didn't make it. In the last decade they've stopped that.</p>
<p>Over half the class has 800 math SATIIs and more that a third 800 SATI's. You also need a strong CR score because of the volume of reading. I have not seen anyone with your stats get in for a very long time unfortunately. I don't think they'd let in a star quarterback with a 6 in the front of a math score.</p>
<p>It's a myth that an EC other than perhaps something on the level of being an Olympic athlete can make up for grades and scores in general, but it's a total myth at Wharton.</p>
<p>I think I've decided on Tulane. I've read that I'm almost assured a full tuition and it has great research facilities as well as being a high ranked school. I'm going to apply to Georgetown as well, but even if I got accepted I don't believe that I could afford to go there. It would be nice to see that I was accepted though :P</p>
