Chance Me - John Hopkins University

<p>Ok, so I want to go to John Hopkins to major in their Cell and Molecular Biology program, but I am feeling unsure about my chances, so please help me.</p>

<p>About me:
-Rising senior in high school
-Latino/Hispanic
-Live in Georgia
-Fluent in English and Portuguese </p>

<p>Grades:
-4.00 GPA unweighted, around 4.35 weighted
-By the time I graduate, I will have taken 9 AP Classes</p>

<p>SAT/ACT:
-SAT: Combined score of 2110 (I will be taking the SAT again.)
-760 Reading
-700 Math
-650 English</p>

<p>-ACT: Composite score of 31
-32 English
-27 Math
-34 Reading
-31 Science</p>

<p>-SAT II:
-780 Biology
-670 Literature
-And I still have to recieve my scores for Math II</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
-Violin (seven years):
-Youth Orchestra of Greater Columbus (five years)
-All-District Orchestra (seven years)</p>

<p>-School's Space Program:
-FIRST Robotics (two years)
-ZERO Robotics (A programming competition sponsored by MIT) (two years)</p>

-National English Honor Society
-Computer Programming:
-Java
-C++</p>

<p>I think u definetly have a shot-- especially b/c you are a urm. Just try to bring ur SATs up by a little.
