Thanks,
CurryCow :)

Bump

Edit: Will be taking 6 AP Exams this year not 5 since there are 2 for AP Physics C

Edit: To avoid any confusion, I am currently a junior :)

You’ve got yourself really set up, especially since you’re only a junior! I’d say you have a good chance at all those schools. If not, at least most! Sorry I couldn’t be too much of assistance!

If you’re a junior keep it up cause you’re a good shot at every single school you apply too including HYPS just make sure you get good rec’s and write good essays and you are set man. Good work.

Thanks a bunch
Bump: Chance me, I’ll chance back

Apply to Ssp!!! Yay

As a junior, that is incredible. If you continue this good trend, UCB, UCLA, UCSD, and WashU are matches. You should get in. Cornell and Brown are reachables ivies so I’d call those low reaches. Stanford, Columbia, Dartmouth, and UPenn (especially if Whorton) are reaches. If you could add more passion or uniqueness to your ECs, I think you’re likely to get into some of your reaches for sure. Goodluck!

All the UC’s, Duke, Cornell, and WashU are target for you.

I feel that you are missing a leadership position or a more significant EC for the other schools. They are reach.

You have set yourself up pretty well. I can’t even tell you what to improve for better chances at those schools. The higher-end ivies are reaches for practically everyone, but you are definitely on target for everything else.

dude you’re a great applicant to any of those schools- I’d be surprised if none of those schools accepted you

in at berkeley, ucla, ucsd
pretty good chances at cornell and washu
great chances at the rest.

great scores and good ec’s.

you’re going to go somewhere great no matter what!

and i love your username btw.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1409730-chance-me-top-schools-thanks.html

Wow, thanks for your valuable input everyone

Much appreciated, time to do these chance backs.

Everything looks amazing, you have great chances everywhere you apply, expect multiple acceptance letter from the schools you listed. Good luck and congrats.
Chance me back if you can:

Thanks man, chanced you back :)

You have as good a chance as anyone else! If you got all As junior year and continues through first semester senior year I’d say you’d definitely get into all UCs. As for those Ivy leagues they’re all extremely subjective but you have as good a chance as any other applicant. I’m sure you have a good chance to get into at least one of the Ivys

Thanks  Bump bump ^^

I am sure you will be accepted, right now you are in the right path, congratulations. However now I am sad because I recently got my sat scores, an they are extremely low 1300. My dream is to attend Stanford or UC Berkeley. But I think that it will be impossible. My GPA unweighted : 3.857. I took around 20 AP Classes and I am very participative. Oh an I have to say that i am a senior already. The things that colleges may consider about me is that I have 1 year living in the U.S.A. And I lived my whole life in Mexico, I am fluent with Spanish and I also participated in several academic contest. Do you think they’ll accept me ?

Hmm that really is a unique condition Paolaleman. 20 AP Classes is no joke, that’s more than most valedictorians in the nation, but a 1300 SAT score might bite. I wouldn’t imagine your Critical Reading and Writing skills to be very high if you lived in Mexico your entire life.

Maybe you might have a shot if you explain this to them in your application? I don’t know how you took that many AP classes in Mexico but I would think you only have a slight chance to be honest… Then again, it depends on your extracurriculars and volunteering. It’s just that 1300 is a sub-par score for not only Stanford and Berkeley, but lots of 4 year universities around the country.

Yes I took several AP classes in Mexico and I am taking some here. Well, so your conclusion is that maybe they will not accept me, right?
